I’m still raving about these yoga classes months later in different parts of Costa Rica where I've had several different instructors and classes. Yoga with Alli at Las Tortugas is by far the best. You will not regret going.

What a wonderful class! Alli is so welcoming, her class is available to all levels and she gives great adjustments for everyone :) Highly recommend her yoga & meditation class as well!

I really enjoyed Alli’s yoga class, she has a beautiful voice and excellent cues with modifications for all levels. The space is serene and unbelievably close to the sea! Highly recommend.

Allison was great! Her guiding took me to another world! Made me feel soooo relaxed! Thank you Allison!
In all public classes, Allison will always offer modifications and variations of postures and exercises in order for the class to be fit for a broader audience. If you are unsure which class to begin with, she highly recommends pilates beginners to start with the Core & Booty class before moving on to the Full-Body Burn class. For yoga beginners, the slow flow class is a beautiful place to begin before attending a vinyasa flow.
If you want one-on-one attention as you make your way into your movement journey, please do not hesitate to book a private lesson, as this is a great way to begin your journey into mindful movement so we can fine tune your technique.
Allison teaches regular public yoga classes at Hotel Las Tortugas and regular public mat-pilates classes at RipJackInn.
All classes at RipJack Inn can be paid either in person with cash/card at reception of the hotel or online here.
All classes at Hotel Las Tortugas are donation-based. The program runs a “pay-what-you-can” rate in order to make the practice available to a broader group of people.
The yoga program at Las Tortugas Hotel is supported by a partnership between Alice & Leigh and the Hotel itself. The hotel does not charge her to use the space, and the hotel does not pay her to give the classes. Allison holds classes in this space for the public because both her and the hotel owner truly believe that yoga should be available for anyone and everyone. We feel that the more people are able to form a mind-body-spirit connection, the better place the world will be. We value our work, and we value our time, but we never want a price to be the reason someone turns down an opportunity to be guided into connection. Your donations are highly valued and appreciated to keep the program running.
The program is truly a “pay-what-you-can” rate. The going rate in town for a public drop-in class ranges from $15 - $20 per class. People have also expressed their gratitude for class through non-monetary donations such as incense, home-grown fruits, and hand-made goods. All is accepted and appreciated.
